It could seem electronic, it could seem spying through the keyhole, it could seem nordic. In reality it’s nothing about that. It’s simply Sillyboy, and his name says everything.

This solo-project from Greece is the natural evolution of the electronic coldwave from Northern Europe and deployed in a deeply aestetic way. Sillyboy’s Stalker blends retro–pop synths, bass-driven grooves, low tempo rhythm, gentle guitar riffs, temperamental lyrics and dreamy melodies.

I’d say it’s perfect for your breakfast, ideal for your aperitif, thought for your nasty nights. A bit of pink here and there, flower petals all around and voila’, the fairy world. We want to donate you the perfect soundtrack for this first Friday of spring… so enjoy and love, love, love, more, more, more!

After a journey along the Silk Way until Tibet with their debut album, Mount Buzhou, Lerin / Hystad continues their trip in the Far East.

The result is Amaterasu, an album based on field-recordings from Tokyo and Osaka in Japan. It combines recordings from arcade halls and subway stations with ambient soundscapes, electronica and post-rock vibes.

We don’t know the reason behind such exotic journey but it looks like Lerin / Hystad would like to become the new mystics of the West. Rumors become sound, glitches are turned into melodies, several loops drives you through a continuous momentum into yourself, into your soul. There are no if’s and no but’s, at the end there is just the pleasure of our-self with the surrounding world, everybody reaches the feel to be the right person, into the right place, at the right moment.

Tibetan monks’ ancient prays have been turned into muffled urban noise through cherry orchards and zen gardens. I’ll stay here for a while to watch catfishes and goldfishes. The death may wait for another while.

Listen here

It seems the spring is still far away, yes, away. The sky is still grey, cloudy, the wind still cold and the rain still bothering you. Let’s open a bottle of red wine, let’s put something in the glass and let’s go downstairs in the basement to see what is going on over there. With such shitty weather, what else you can do? Let’s start to move things, and oh damn, so so dusty, augh augh. Auch, my head, we should be very carefull. Oh, look there, there is a tape, let’s play it. Hey dude! Do you remember when we were playing such stuff?

Well, I don’t know if it was exactly this the situation around such album, but Wholewheat are teaching us that sometimes it makes sense just rummage through old stuff ’cause at the end you don’t know what you can find. It happens to find some little treasures, or something to work with. This is a lesson for your old records too, you must never throw them out, you never know, you may rework on them and that’s it, the game is done.

Warm vibes from the infamous New Jersey, the other side of coolness: low voices, mildew smell, lofi sounds, wine and cigarettes all around. Strongly reccommended the vinyl to full catch the genuineness of acoustics. What about you?

We are more young now, because we are also free to decide what to do, where to stay, with who to spend your gritties days.

With all lightness of almond tree’s flowers Boyish had released last year a lovely album with the title “Sketch For 8000 Days Of Moratorium” mad of love, shoegaze, twee pop, candies, pink walls and shabby vinyls.

Imagine to be surrounded by a flock of swallows: confusion, beauty, black, white and spring.
This is the sensation that you can feel listening to the new Ep, Strange Gold, of Wildfront: it is a stormy rain of tears, a quickly running through a gate toward an hidden garden.
This dreampop with a strong influence from eighties music (Cocteau Twins and all masterpieces of the shoegaze) give us moments of dreamy confusion that allow us to wake up from a grey long sleeping.

The quick sadness of Trust Fund music is an amazing example of indie-pop and lo-fi mixed in a pie young, funny and full of life.
“No One’s Coming For Us” is the first album of this music project music and is a really big explosion of funny guitars taken from the indie-folk, secrets written on a diary, wilted flowers and a lot of kittens.
This album is an easter egg colorful, sunny and not perfect.
It is lo-fi because is more urgent the necessity to run outside, to take the bicycle and go to the home of your best friend and scream “come with me at the sea, it is spring, run with me to reach the summer”.

With this poetic indie-folk, more funny that the music of Mac De Marco, your friend cannot decline your invite.
