It’s like going back in years, let’s say at the end of ’70s. Yes, it’s like, because we are wrong. It’s like being in a smoking industrial town of the UK, let’s say in North West England. Yes, it’s like, because we are wrong again. We are instead at Montpellier, in the South of France, and in 2014. It’s here You Are Number Six conceived his Weird Tales. Such a blunter, right?
During the last times les Blues have surprised us with guitars and synths, they are in a very good shape and we’d say this solo project, You Are Number Six, enters fully in this trend. Captivating rhythms, moving melodies, scratching rifts. Everything in an explosive mix for the lovers of new wave. Some indierock/poprock characteristics are not disturbing the listener because they make this album more modern and more appropriate for nowadays. What else, very good production and looking forward for new releases from You Are Number Six, this was the debut EP only.
