I was not an adult in the nineties, and yet the music of those years has remained in my heart, for a mixture of sweetness expressed in reverb that has always fascinated and inspired me. The band The Sundays are a wonderful example of the music of the 90′s; sweetness that shines in tears, torn photographs, poems written on crumpled and maltreated sheets as the jeans that were used then. Talk to Me have brought me in those years, with their sophisticated  and lightweight athmosphere, that covers with a cloud a sky full of dark thoughts and interwoven with slowcore. With these ten tracks of ‘album Roads, they have photographed beautiful moments and fleeting, and love stories never told and all those things that make us human.

Negli anni novanta non ero adulta, avevo una decina d’anni, eppure la musica di quegli anni mi è rimasta nel cuore, per un misto di dolcezza espressa in riverberi che mi ha sempre affascinata e ispirata. I The Sundays sono un meraviglioso esempio della musica di allora; dolcezza che si sfilaccia nelle lacrime, in fotografie strappate, in poesie scritte su fogli stropicciati e maltrattati, quanto i jeans che si usavano allora.
I Talk to Me mi hanno riportata a quegli anni, col loro piglio sofisticato e leggero che con una nuvola copre un cielo scuro fitto di pensieri e intessuto di slowcore.
Con queste dieci tracce dell’ album Roads hanno fotografato attimi bellissimi e sfuggenti, storie e amori mai raccontati e tutte quelle cose che ci rendono umani.
