Con grande soddisfazione si è concluso il Festival della Musica Giovane di Andria giunto con successo alla decima edizione, organizzato dal comune di Andria (BAT) in collaborazione con l’associazione culturale Tablinum.
Dopo due giorni di esibizioni live di ben 12 gruppi musicali emergenti provenienti da tutte le regioni italiane presentate dal gionalista Aldo Losito, si è giunti alla terza e ultima serata (il 22 agosto) con i finalisti, valutati da una giuria composta da Luigi Lomolino (dell’etichetta discografica Scenario Music) e da Domenico Piccolo (musicista), Vincenzo Zingaro (musicista) e Pietro Di Pilato (giuria popolare).
Al primo posto sono arrivati i Lenula, con il loro stile fuori dagli schemi che si barcamena tra il psichedelico e il classico con punte di rock; al secondo posto i Franklin, dal ritmo incalzante e tradizionalmente alt-rock; il terzo posto è stato aggiudicato al Cavaliere Alessandro, che si è esibito sul palco di Andria per due volte con i pezzi Libera e Allo Specchio, tratti dal nuovo album (scaricabile qui gratuitamente) intitolato, appunto, Libera.
Interessante è stato l’andamento del Festival, caratterizzato da scelte azzeccate, tra cui quella di rendere brevi le esibizioni dei gruppi (solo due pezzi per artista) che ha reso il tutto molto veloce e capace di mantenere viva l’attenzione del pubblico.
Gli artisti scelti hanno mostrato, per la maggior parte, originalità e grinta, caratteristiche che potrebbero portarli lontano.
Menzione d’onore alla band Il Cavaliere Alessandro che ha dato prova di originalità anche nell’interpretazione dei bellissimi pezzi con cui ha partecipato al festival, dando una sferzata di energia al pubblico talmente forte da rasentare il dionisiaco.
Molto interessanti anche Marco Esposito e Carolina Da Siena: il primo per uno stile alla Brinori Sas rielaborato in maniera più malinconica; la seconda per la curiosa fusione tra cantautorale e punk che col tempo, di certo, maturerà con un risultato ancora migliore di quello odierno.
Al prossimo anno, dunque, con altri originali e promettenti gruppi!

After two days of exhibitions live of 12 emergent bands coming from all the Italian regions, presented to the journalist Aldo Losito, it has reached the third and last evening with the finalists, judged by a jury composed by Luigi Lomolino (of the label record Scenery Music) and from Domenico Piccolo (musician), Vincent Zingaro (musician) and Pietro Di Pilato (popular jury).

They have been awarded the first place the Lenula, with their style out of the schemes that it manages between the psychedelic music and the classical music with points of rock; to the second place have arrived the Franklin, with their pressing rhythm and traditionally alt-rock; the third place has been awarded The Rider Alexander, who is exhibited twice on the stage of Andria for with Free and In The Mirror, drawn by the new album (free download here) entitled Free.
It has been interesting the course of the Festival, characterized by appropriate choices, among which that to make the exhibitions of the groups brief (only two songs for artist) that it has made the everything very fast and able to maintain lives the attention of the public.
The select artists have shown, for the most greater part, originality and grim, characteristics that could bring them distant.
Mention of honor to the band The Rider Alexander that has also given test of originality in the interpretation of the beautiful songs with which they have participated in the festival giving a lash of energy to the public.

Very interesting also Marco Esposito and Carolina Da Siena: the first one for a style sameto the Brinori Sas elaborated in more melancholy way; the second for the curious fusion between cantautoral and punk that with the time, of certain, it will still mature with a better result of that today’s.
To next year, therefore, with others original and promising groups!
