Gli Eels on Heels, sono una band tranese (Bari) che con la moda non ha nulla a che vedere. Disturbati, maniacali, oscuri e interrotti, i suoni del loro ep omonimo ricordano tanto la no wave dei Suicide con qualcosa dei Bauahus. Peccando forse di una certa monotonia che probabilmente è dovuta al genere musicale in questione, che non lascia spazio per raggi di sole ma inghiotte dentro di sé paure e frustrazioni, piccole e grandi manie che qui addirittura vengono accompagnate da inquietanti cori gotici che ricordano le atmosfere cupe de Il Nome Della Rosa.
interessanti e ipnotici, da provare, sperando di non rimanerne scottati.
